Samsung’s latest flagship has revealed itself to be the king of productivity, in the realm of PRO tablets. This fans favorite comes inspired by the previous iteration of this same line up: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
The Tab S8 makes no effort to hide the fact that it looks exactly like the Galaxy Tab S7. They share well over 98% of the same physical attributes. We do notice some very subtle differences, but not enough to immediately tell them apart.
The biggest upgrade comes from the inside; the Galaxy Tab S8 is boasting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and this chipset has shown to be more than capable to not only surpass the other Android tablets, but also compete with Apple’s own silicon in certain areas. Fantastic performance by this tablet – on top of that, this tablet supports Samsung DeX, making the device even more flexible, to the level where it can be used as a laptop.
It pushes that same 11” TFT LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 2560. The display is excellent, bright, and the colors are super vibrant – image quality is very sharp as well. No issues playing heavy games on here, and watching movies is enjoyable. The 8,000 mAh make for a full day of use without worries, and also supports fast charge at up to 45 W.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 offers the perfect balance of power, versatility, accessibility, and price. The Tab S8 provides the all around best value.
