The iPad 10 is an interesting one, because it’s as if it sits between the regular iPad 9 and the current iPad Air, and costs more than the typical iPad, but less than the Air. In terms of design, we notice a drastic change. It’s a modern look with uniform bezels on the front face, measuring 10.9 inches and pushing an 80.5 PERCENT Screen-TO-Body RATIO as opposed to the previous 70.8 PERCENT.
The resolution on this IPS LCD display sits at 1640 x 2360 pixels, this can get as bright as 500 nits. The display is fairly dense at 264 ppi, and Images are sharp, with colors that are vibrant.
Entertainment has been great on here and enjoyable; it is worth nothing however that the display on this device is not laminated, so when looking at the screen at an angle, one will notice the gap that exists between the top part of the tablet and the actual display.
The ipad 10 supports the new generation of TOUCH ID, a quad speaker look (the device actually only has 2 speakers), there is USB-C port located at the bottom of the tablet. It is also worth nothing that this tablet supports the Apple Pencil first generation – in order to connect the pencil to the tablet and also charge it, one would need an adapter that plugs into the USB-C at the bottom of the tablet.
The new iPad 10 is loaded with a 12 Megapixel main camera located on the back, and a 12 Megapixel selfie camera located on the front, and it also supports Center Stage.
In terms of specs and performance, this iPad is boasting an Apple A14 BIONIC chip comboed with 4GB of RAM. The available configurations on this ipad are one with 64GB and another with 256GB
Performance has been just excellent. I have no complaints so far, and there’s no surprise there. It handles a bunch of opened apps in the background with no issues, along with heavy tasks. It handles gaming very well also, no lags or freezes
The battery has been excellent so far; in fact more impressive than that of the iPad Air, which shares the same dimensions and size.
